Julie Kobrynovich | BScKin, MPT
Registered Physiotherapist (AKA "The Multi-Tasker")
Julie is the clinic owner at Fundamentals Physiotherapy. In 2019, she had a vision of a multidisciplinary clinic that placed an emphasis on building critical relationships with their patients.
Where she believes she is different is that she’s been a patient before. Her rehab has included recovery from a fractured tibia, rotator cuff tear, SI joint instability and pelvic health concerns. She is a uniquely positive and empathetic individual that shows true care and concern for her patients and the community.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in 2004, she headed to Western University in London, ON where she completed her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2007.
Julie is a highly regarded Physiotherapist in the Durham Region and has a wealth of experience practicing physiotherapy for over 12 years. She spent a majority of her career working in private practice in the Durham Region, while also working casually at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Over the years she has also provided Sport Physiotherapy services to local events and teams such as the Oshawa Vikings Rugby Club, Durham Attack Volleyball Club, etc. She has extensive experience working with orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, to the younger and older population. Her clinical approach focuses on manual treatment, functional movement restoration, educations and home exercise programs to encourage patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation. She prides herself in completing post-graduate courses in Acupuncture, McKenzie, K-Tape Practitioner, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussions, Women’s Health and more. She continues to pursue additional training in advanced manual and manipulative therapy.
A former university athlete, Julie continues to live an active lifestyle that includes being active in the community with 100 Women Who Care Oshawa and a frequent member of LA Fitness. She is also involved in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 200km cycling event from Toronto to Niagara Falls raising funds for Cancer Research through Princess Margaret Hospital. She also spends a majority of her time with her two active little girls and her husband.
Olga Aguilar | BScPT
Registered Physiotherapist (AKA “Mistress of Pain”)
Olga graduated in 1993 from the University of the East Philippines with Bachelor of Science Degree. Over the years, she has continued her practice in a variety of settings including retirement/nursing homes, homecare as well as outpatient orthopedic clinics. The most recent years she has pursued and continued her practice primarily in private clinical care, due to her love for treating and rehabilitating shoulder injuries and ankle/foot conditions.
She continues to attend seminars and courses for further enhancement within the orthopedic field. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Her additional education includes the McKenzie A & B, Mulligan Techniques, Acupuncture through AFCI, and the well known APTEI’s courses conducted by Bahram Jam APTEI’s courses on the Shoulder and SI Joint.
Olga is a world traveller and enjoys seeking out new adventures with her family and friends across the world. Her patients trust her in their recovery and speak very highly of her communication skills and therapeutic abilities.

Registered Massage Therapist (AKA “Master of Manipulation”)
I am fortunate to open another chapter of my rewarding career as a Registered Massage Therapist at Fundamentals Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic. I am reconnecting with Julie and the opportunity to work alongside her again as she strives to offer the community excellent care. I am embarking on an exciting journey to collaborate with an elite healthcare team as it flourishes.
I studied Massage Therapy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto and graduated in 2005. I have been utilizing my studies and continuing to learn and grow as a therapist since. My goal is to offer clients a safe, efficient and effective treatment plan to assist them in obtaining an improved level of comfort, decreasing their pain and offering the tools they need to perform their activities of daily living optimally.

Manual Osteopathic Practitioner
Shahrzad Ebrahimi | BScKin, DOMP
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (AKA “The Holistic Gal”)
Shahrzad received a Specialized Honors Degree in Kinesiology from York University. While studying kinesiology and attending clinical settings she observed people suffering from various pain symptoms and functional limitations. This experience inspired her to take the initiative to study the alternative medicine Osteopathy.
She further continued her education at National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto to become a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner to follow her lifelong passion of helping people who suffer from musculoskeletal pain and injuries. Her approach is to assist them to become pain-free and provide them with holistic treatment plans. She has completed her research and thesis on Osteopathic treatments and sciatic pain with a focus on improving the patient’s joints while strengthening the musculoskeletal framework through osteopathic joint mobilization techniques, osteopathic muscle energy techniques and soft tissue manipulations.
She is passionate about providing an exceptional service to patients to help them experience a better quality of life by decreasing their pain level, reducing muscle stiffness/spasm and joint restrictions as well as increasing their range of motion, increasing their functional ability and improving their overall health. She graduated with an excellent feedback and is a member of Alliance Canadienne Medecine Alternative (ACMA) and registered with College of Registered Manual Osteopaths (CRMO).

Office Administer (AKA “Doctor of Claims”)
Cristine is currently the Administration Head of Fundamentals Physiotherapy – our multi disciplinary rehabilitation clinic which offers a wide array of allied and specialized medical services clinic in Oshawa. She brings over 9 years of Administrative experience to the table with expertise in claims, scheduling and correspondence. Working in close coordination with the executive team, medical professionals and support agencies are also part of Cristine’s duties aside from providing excellent customer service to patients. Attention to detail, fast learner and highly dedicated worker are just some of Cristine’s strong attributes as described by her colleagues. Cristine’s proven ability to multi-task as well as organizing and managing schedules positively impacted the clinic’s vision of providing topnotch services to patients with different needs. Furthermore, her contributions toward improving the clinic’s over all system led to a more efficient and effective office function maintaining an open communication at all levels of professionals within and outside the company.
Cristine is a licensed Doctor in the Philippines. She also has an undergraduate diploma from the University of Santo Tomas Philippines with a Bachelor of Science Degree Major in Psychology. Belonging to a family of Physicians and Lawyers molded Cristine to be the person she is today. A fun, loving and dedicated individual that always strives for excellence at any given situation. As of today, Cristine continues to deliver a strong and solid Administrative platform in which she is always being applauded and recognized treating her peers and patients with utmost respect making everybody happy and leaving them a sweet smile in their faces when they enter and leave the clinic.
Michael Kobrynovich | BA Economics, CFP
Office Manager (AKA "Jack of all Trades")
Michael graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a BA in Economics in 2005. He is a CFP designated financial planner who works for Sun Life Financial. Michael’s first job ever was as a bookkeeper for a small retailer, and it seems like life has a way of coming around full circle. He will be ‘Jack of all Trades’ at Fundamentals Physiotherapy. Office manager and bookkeeper; he is here to help all clients have a smooth and pleasant interaction.
