PHYSIOTHERAPY

The earliest documented origins of actual physical therapy as a professional group dates back to 1813

Physiotherapists are registered health care providers specialized in the human body and its biomechanics – which is basically how you move! Physiotherapy is an active, exercise-based treatment approach for the rehabilitation process. We aim to restore, promote and maintain movement after injury, illness or surgery. Your initial assessment includes a subjective health history, followed by an objective assessment of range of motion (ROM), strength, reflexes and additional injury specific tests. Our physiotherapists provide you with a clinical diagnosis and a personalized treatment program in collaboration with you to ensure your success.

Our physiotherapists use specific techniques such as postural and gait analysis, manual (“hands-on”) therapy, McKenzie method, bracing and/or taping techniques, personalized therapeutic exercises alongside extensive education, activity modification options and self-management strategies. We also use others physiotherapy related tools such as ultrasound, acupuncture, shockwave and laser therapy, electrotherapy, etc.

If you are unsure if we treat a specific condition, do not hesitate to CONTACT US.
