About Kathleen (Katy) Johns

Katy was born in Toronto and grew up in Durham. She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Ontario Tech University. She then earned her Masters of Physiotherapy in London, England at Brunel University. Post-graduation, she stayed in London to work at Croydon University Hospital for 2 years. Here, she mainly worked with the elderly population post surgery for hips and knees, to get them back to walking and daily living.

Her main focus of physiotherapy is exercise. She believes that exercise is medicine but also incorporates manual therapy when it is required.

In her down time, she loves cycling, hiking, running, and going to the beach on sunny days.

 Although her past experience has been working with the elderly population she enjoys working with clients in all age ranges, and she is looking forward to working with you to achieve your physiotherapy goals!
